The BASI qualification is incredible and it is a highly regarded qualification to have in the snowsports industry. It is one of the only qualifications that allows you to teach in France, although you do have to be a Level 4 instructor to work there. It does provide you with that option whereas CASI unfortunately doesn't.
Canada is a great country, we have been there a number of times. If you are looking to become and instructor why not get your BASI qualification in France and work as an instructor out there for a season, it's always an option.
